The Child on the Landing
The Child on the Landing
October 14, 2026NO OPT-IN REQUIRED FOR THE EVENT. All players who meet the participation criteria are automatically considered and will be notified within three (3) business days after the conclusion of the event if they have won.
Two in the morning, and there is a small figure at the top of your stairs whispering your name. Nobody in this house is a child. Do you go up, or lock the bedroom door and wait for daylight? You decide!
One choice makes you the only adult moving if a real child has wandered in from somewhere, and gets you up there before anything else does – and if it isn’t a child, has you walking towards it in the dark with nothing behind you. The other keeps a locked door between you and it until sunrise, which is the whole job, and leaves you lying there for four hours listening to something whisper your name in your own house. In this 24-hour Challenge every spin is a vote, and the highest-spun game is crowned the Nightwatch.
